WELCOME TO WWW.RULES-TRAINING.COM

One of the most effective ways to learn and understand the rules of a particular sport is to review actual game situations.  Our website, www.Rules-Training.com, was created to do just that – to offer various game situations to be studied and reviewed.  Designed mainly for sports officials and those who train them (i.e. Rules Interpreters and Instructors), this site should also benefit coaches, players, parents and fans.   Our “Rules Training” website is designed around a database of questions/game situations that have been submitted by individuals who know and understand the rules of their particular sport(s).  These questions are then used for Online Interactive Rules Review and for the creation of Quizzes and Tests for Rules Interpreters and Instructors.

ONLINE INTERACTIVE RULES REVIEW

Our Rules Review section is designed to offer subscribers the ability to review actual game situations online, using multiple choice or true/false questions, and to receive immediate feedback to their answers. Questions/Game Situations used are from our online database, which is constantly being populated by subscribing Contributors, including Sports Officials, Rules Interpreters and Instructors. Questions are in the following format: (Try It Now!)

Fastpitch Softball:

CREATE, PRINT, TAKE QUIZZES / TESTS

Our Quiz/Test Section is designed especially for anyone assigned the important task of training other sports officials.  Rules Interpreters and Instructors can quickly and easily create quizzes to be used in their local sports official associations. Quizzes/Tests can be created, selecting questions from our database of questions / game situations. These Quizzes/Tests (with answer sheets) can be printed and distributed at association meetings or new official classes. We are also working on an interactive quiz phone app to allow friendly competition during your association meetings and new official classes.

SUBMIT YOUR QUESTIONS/GAME SITUATIONS!

By necessity, this project is a collaborative effort.  We have neither the time nor the knowledge to be able to enter all possible game situations for all rules for all sports.  If this project is to grow and succeed, we will need fellow sports officials to submit questions/game situations (and answers) to be added to our database.  If each of our subscribing sports officials would submit just a few questions/game situations, we could quickly fill our database with Quiz Questions and Answers.  We are also in need of a number of Rule Reviewers (for each sport), who will review submitted questions/game situations before adding them to our database.
