About Rules-Training.com

The primary purpose of our website – www.Rules-Training.com – is to provide rules training for all sports officials, both new and experienced.  However, our site should also benefit coaches, players, parents and fans, giving them a better understanding of the rules of their particular sport(s).  Our interactive rules review format allows users to review a question, select an answer, and receive immediately feedback as to the correctness of their answer, including a detailed explanation of the rule.

Rules-Training.com uses Multiple Choice and True/False questions (based on game situations) to teach the rules to sports officials, coaches, players and fans.  This format is ideal for new sports officials, who are attempting to learn the rules and for more experienced officials who wish to “brush up” on the rules before their season starts.

Local sports official association Reps will enjoy our Quizzes & Tests feature, which allows their class instructors and rules interpreters to generate tests and quizzes from our database of questions (game situations) for use in their classes and local meetings.

The questions in our ever-growing database are actual game situations submitted by subscribers, including sports officials, rules interpreters and instructors.  As you can see, this project is a collaborative effort.  Sports Officials are encouraged to submit game situations to our database so others can learn by reviewing these questions and so Instructors and Rules Interpreters create quizzes for training purposes.

Our site is still in its infancy.  During Phase I, we are focusing on Fastpitch Softball (NFHS, NCAA, & USA/ASA).  During Phase II we will probably be adding Baseball.  In Phase III we will probably open the site up to all other sports. Of course, no matter which sport(s) your are interested in, feel free to join us anytime..

Thank you for your interest in our website – www.Rules-Training.com.  If you have any questions about our site or have suggestions, please use our  “ Contact Us ” page or email me directly at [email protected].

Sincerely,
Your Rules-Training Team
